Lead a team of seven (7) Labor Relations/HR professionals as the Vice-President of Labor Relations for PepsiCo's North American Beverages (PBNA) Division encompassing one hundred forty (140) labor agreements (Pepsi, Gatorade and Tropicana) and over two hundred (200) union-free sites. Significant HR generalist and Labor experience, throughout my career, all but three in unionized construction, manufacturing and consumer product environments. Have served as first chair on well over two hundred contracts. Deal primarily with Teamster locals but have also extensive experience with Steelworkers union, IBEW and Operating Engineers. Served as Chief spokesperson (for multi-employer bargaining) for the Master Agreement for the Great Lakes with the Longshoremen (ILA).Have directly represented company interests in thirty arbitration cases (including case preparation and presentation).Extensive efforts in union avoidance including preparing for potential changes in Labor Law new NLRB appointments. Created extensive field based manager and supervisory training program which includes business simulations which is being utilized nationally.Have participated in numerous organizing or pre-campaign efforts on behalf of the company.Ability to use my past generalist experience to serve as an excellent business partner in meeting the goals of each negotiation, arbitration, campaign or significant change initiative.Served on Local Chamber of Commerce Panel on Labor Relations.
