Pre-sales Engineer for Federal

• Continuation of work at Juniper with new owners (Pulse Secure), expanded role on a nationwide basis.
• Managed DoD JITC, UC-APL, FIPs, and common criteria certifications for Pulse Secure appliances.

• Pre-sales engineer for Juniper Access Control products including Juniper's SSL VPN and UAC products. As the subject matter expert – responsible for 10-20 million dollars of incremental revenue each year in the Federal.
• Assist customers with onsite demos and pilot programs for Juniper SSL and UAC products.
• Work closely with Product Management to define product market requirements, feature requests, and engineering specs for the Federal/Gov't marketplace. Such features usually encompassed PKI, encryption, auth servers and.
• Assist customers with performance and load testing of SSL solutions.
• Provide both structured and informal training for Juniper SEs, customers and reseller partners.
• Work closely with technical support and product development on complex post sales escalations.

Supported the Juniper Mid-Atlantic Enterprise sales team as a pre-sales engineer for all Juniper products including routers, firewalls, SSL VPN and load balancers. Finished the year at 120% of quota.

• Successfully lead pre-sales presentations and consultations for Secure Wireless, Token-Ring, ATM, and Ethernet products for Federal and commercial customers here in the Mid-Atlantic.
• Successfully developed strategic accounts through channel partners, corporate system integrators (Lockheed, Unisys) and federal agencies (DOD, DOJ, HUD, FAA, SSA).
• Integrated millions of dollars of Madge products into a variety of customer networks (JP Morgan Chase, SSA, HUD)
• Played leadership role in developing & evolving product features for the company’s secure 802.11 wireless solution.
• Responsible for on-site product evaluation, network design, performance testing, migration planning and final installation.

• Led the configuration, installation, trouble-shooting and performance tuning of Token-Ring, ATM and FDDI LANs for enterprise class campus networks.
• Effectively supported government, bank and other fortune 1000 accounts.

• Managed the design, set-up and maintenance of the bank’s LAN data center, housing strategic custom applications running NT, NetWare, and SQL.
