As a project engineer II at Stone brewery I have gained expertise in the brewing process, beer packaging, and waste water treatment. My major responsibilities include:- Mid to large scale ($150K to $5MM+) capital project management- Process Optimization and improvementIn order to execute those responsibilities I am responsible for:- Managing/working with vendors and contractors to design and install new equipment and processes- Developing scope, budget, and schedules for each capital project- Communicating project status and delivering reports to senior management- Manage change orders throughout project execution- Working with production, safety, maintenance, procurement and sales to commission new processes- Analyze data, design experiments and implement changes to improve processes using lean methods- Communicate and work with production, QA, and procurement to implement process improvement changes.- Develop tools and execute equipment redesign to improve yield- Participate in FMEA analysis to improve processes.

60% project management and 40% process improvement. Have executed capital projects including building construction, new processing equipment installation, equipment redesign, and process redesign. Typically managing multiple projects at the same time. Also have targeted inefficient processes within the facility and used engineering and statistics to optimize performance, generating up to $120K/yr in savings on some processes.

Coordinated the completion of 2 capital projects from start to finish. Also involved in assisting the plant engineer with developing a new customer product.
