As Senior Director of Facilities Management and Senior Director of Building Turnover I lead our team in creation and implementation of Erickson's development building turnover policy to standardize and improve designs and building performance from construction to operations. I was responsible for energy management program development and implementation enterprise wide and managed Erickson's corporate operations facilities management team of 6 directors and managers, overseeing community-based general services teams nationwide.Erickson Living is a developer, owner and operator of campus style Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC) with 32,000,000 square feet of space under roof and a census approaching 25,000 residents in 19 campuses across the nation.

Interstate Restoration

Started up and operated Virginia office. Negotiated and directed hundreds of projects. Developed and maintained relationships with prospective clients and insurance adjusters. Typically, the first person on site following catastrophic losses; determined client needs and developed plans to restore client facility operations quickly and efficiently. Facilities management responsibilities included capital planning, policy management, and hiring and training of key maintenance and engineering personnel. • Managed design and construction teams developing, building, and opening medical specialty units at 27 facilities.• Established capital budgets and managed larger capital needs for up to 200 facilities. • Orchestrated building restoration, bio-remediation, and insurance recovery following major losses, including surface water flooding of Houston and Atlanta facilities.• Trained facility personnel in preventative maintenance, Life Safety, Joint Commission (JCAHO), and Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) compliance.• Conducted capital due diligence surveys for mergers, including acquisition of IFIDA, CPL, and Magnolia Manor healthcare chains.
