I have been involved with schhol transportation for 6 years. I obtainned my CDL in 2002 and have been driving buses since that time. Before working for Lawton Public Schools, I was a recreation specialist for Treasure Lake Job Corps. for 11 years. After serving in that role, I moved to MWR at Fort Sill and worked with Child and Youth Serivces as the youth sports and fitness director unitl joining the transportation department for Lawton in 2018. I joined the tranportation team as a driver and monitor supervisor with dispatching duties for AM and PM routes. I became the director of the department in July of 2020 and have been in that position since then. I am currently serving on the the state association for the Oklahoma Associtation for Pupil Transportation as the states southwest representative. I enjoy enteracting with all my employees and will always be ready to get my hands dirty with whatever job needs to be done. There is nothing that I won't do that I wouldn't ask my employees to do.
