I managed the Sara Lee transition team from a direct sales force at headquarters to broker network with Acosta in the Northeast, this included ‘top to top’ meeting’s with senior management at targeted accounts and presenting the structure to Sara Lee. ♦ I directly manage the entire portfolio at Market Basket, Shaw’s and Tops Markets and have achieved sales and profitability objectives for three quarters along with 92% new item placement. Achieved exclusivity on key holiday features which was key in volume attainment. Was successful selling in a in a new schematic at Tops on Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches and Sara Lee fruit pies which resulted in 9% increase in turn business and share growth. I successfully sold in the concept of full page ads with Market Basket to Sara Lee, this resulted in 16% growth in volume and new distribution on flanker items.
