As number two Business Affairs executive at Lucasfilm and General Counsel for games division, responsible for all business affairs and legal activities for games and online. • Managed a team of 15 licensing professionals responsible for all day-to-day transactions across Lucasfilm companies, including production, development, licensing and clearance.• Successfully negotiated global distribution agreement with Activision, generating over $20 million annually.• Negotiated landmark Lucasfilm deal with Rovio for Angry Birds Star Wars, downloaded 100+ million times. International General Counsel led business affairs, legal, business development and facilities functions in EMEA & APAC.• As a leader on the European management team, instrumental in turning around and growing Activision’s international business from US$342 million of net revenue in 2005 to US$1,291 million in 2010. • Built and led a global team of 10 attorneys, licensing professionals and staff with $5+ million annual budget.• Successfully launched Guitar Hero franchise in Europe, the fastest game franchise to hit $1 billion in revenue. Led music licensing, sponsorship and co-marketing deals across Europe and APAC.• Led multiple cross-functional acquisition integration project teams, including merger with Vivendi Games global operations across dozens of countries. 12-month project completed on time, under budget of $3.5 million.• Advised on dozens of games for ratings, data protection and privacy, and product and marketing content issues. • Represented the company on multiple industry groups including the European and UK industry groups.
