Business Administration• Directs activities in assigned areas and business units to optimize long term operational sustainability and effectiveness to include:• Creates and manages departmental budget, business plans and contracts, and collaborates with Area Coordinator regarding Greater Green Bay budgetary needs• Assess and analyze financial needs across programming areas for The Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay and plans and executes events and fundraising strategies to ensure fiscal needs are met.• Oversight and implementation of strategic development and fundraising plans for all units in the Greater Green Bay Area, including but not limited to; Grant Writing, Special Events, Mail Appeal, Christmas Campaign.• Personnel recruitment, hiring and retention within units of responsibility.• Supports the Area Coordinator in the implementation of the Greater Green Bay Area Strategic Plan to advance the organization’s mission and objectives, assuring timely tactical implementation of approved plans.Operations• Provides direction and support to the Area Coordinator for the recruitment, engagement and retention of the Greater Green Bay Advisory Board and advocacy groups.• Seeks out and offers recommendations for potential collaborative partnerships and business revenue opportunities.• Leads efforts to build and retain a strong community, business and donor relationships.• Provides direction and support of the strategic marketing and communications plan to create awareness and branding for The Greater Green Bay Salvation Army.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position will lead, direct, and supervise the efforts of the Grant Writer, Community Relations and Marketing Coordinator and the Volunteer and Special Events Coordinator. This position will work in collaboration with all Greater Green Bay Area Salvation Army Officers and/or other applicable management personnel and employees as it relates to Business Development.
Community Center Director
• Maintains responsibility for strategic plans, facility budget, organizational aspects, direction and delegated authorized control of overall Community Center operations.• Oversees the supervision of Community Center management team and all personnel, including work allocation, training, enforcement of internal procedures and controls and problem resolution; evaluating performance and making recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.• Improves staff effectiveness and individual growth through coaching, counseling, training, planning, delegating, monitoring, and appraising job tasks and results in a timely manner.• Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with community organizations especially other Tribal departments, Tribal Nations, schools, and other organizations.• Ensures that the Native Culture continues to be infused into programming as desired or requested by the community we serve.• Oversees program statistics, data, outcome reports and reporting to the Division Administrator/Executive Council in a timely manner.• Manages the daily operation of all departments, program space and works with the Facility Property Manager to ensure those spaces are clean, safe, and functional for members and program participants.• Develops, manages, and monitors the Community Center budget and meets or exceeds budget goals.• Responsible for Community Center, Recruiting, Hiring, Training, Organization Development, Coaching, Performance Management, Leadership and creating Job Descriptions.• Researching, planning, directing and coordinating all marketing, promotion and advertising efforts.
Recreation Supervisor
• Supervise the daily recreation operations, including overseeing the employees work regimens, managing the building and company, assign duties, set meetings, coordinate activities and programs and fulfill any duties needed to continue to be successful.• Make financial arrangements, prearranged and maintained the recreation budget. • Provide leadership and direction to all staff members; to ensure that the recreation upholds their short-term and long-term business goals.• Coordinate distribution of plans, instructions and other documents to vendors, volunteers and/or borrower during special events. • Develop, revise, and evaluate the departments’ standard operating procedures and rules and regulations in all core areas for effectiveness. • Participate and provide involvement in strategic planning, budget development, and any management actions. • Prepare paperwork such as employee scheduling, purchase orders, daily attendance sheets, supply advances, monthly reports, lead building reports, yearly outcomes for each subdivision, and any incident reports.• Provide leadership and guidance to all my employees.• Produce and preform evaluations for recreational staff members.
