I am a certified Tool and die maker, obtained my certificate in 2001. My career started on the shop floor as an apprentice, which I quickly(within the first year) started to be able to build jobs in entirety. I was promoted to die leader shortly after that which position I held till the end of my first place of employment with added responsibilities of the shop floor Forman about a year before I left. I was responsible for build to tryout and everything in between, but I was searching for experience with deep draw and class "A panels which lead me to my second position. I spent about 5years in the "tryout " department mastering the art of troubleshooting and following tools to buyoff in the customers plant. Deep draw, large size panels and class "A' panels now became my expertise. I then moved into the engineering department, I have certificates for "Autoform(version3-8)" & "Unigraphics(NX1-NX12) the main software we use. I am responsible for the forming simulations, processes and some designs for the majority of the parts we now produce. I have some experience with "Catia", "Pro-E", "Solidworks", "Key Creator", "Dyna-form" and a few others as well
