I have over 30 years experience as salesman. Fifteen years as a sales manager. Ten years as a owner of a sales and manufacturing company. While I was working at Home Depot full-time. I was attending the University of Phoenix. In 2010 I graduated with a bachelor's degree in business management with a 3.56 GPA. After I left Home Depot and retired. I volunteer at the VA hospital in Long Beach, CA in Quantity Management. I was assigned by the Quality Management to review records of employment of all the doctors and nurses on staff and the paper work was up to Board of Quality Assurance (BQA) standards. I worked for them for six months in preparing for the BQA inspection. I volunteered for the Eye Clinic for eight months. I was in charge of converting over 18,000 files from hard copy to computer files and inventory the files for the archives in eight weeks. I was reassigned to the front desk to take over the confirmation desk. I also assisted the front desk checking in and making appointments and up dating the patients records. I took great pride in providing assistance in helping the veterans receive the best medical treatment they deserve. I retired from the VA hospital to help my wife her medical needs. My wife and I currently living in Salem, Oregon area. Her medical condition is good and I'm looking for employment.

My job was to prepare over 18,000 veteran records (hard copies) to be scan by central records and later to be shipped to the veteran archives in St. Louis, MO. I had to review each file for duplications, unreadable files, separate the living from the deceased files in two separate groups, organize them in A to Z order, create manifest both groups and box them for future transportation.From June of 2013 to February of 2014. My duties were to call and confirm from 100 to 200 patients a day of their appointments. Backing up the front desk in making appointments, assigning the patients files to their appointed departments, fill-in for break and lunch times, and troubling shooting. Review and redirected 50 to 120 messages on the message machine a day. I also assisted the eye clinic's secretary in extra work she was unable to start or finish and assisted with other related departments of the eye clinic.
