Looking after customers needs during disruption, and assisting station team with up to date information so that they are aware of the process that is in place and action required

I lead the day to day activities of the operational control team based at bristol. I am responsible for the minute by minute performance and regulation of services calling at Bristol TM, and assisting with regulation of services serving stations in the central region, as part of my role I deal with our intergrated control centre and network rail to discuss fleet and operational issues that need addressing, I also carryout fitness for duty checks and deal with operational incidents in the absence of train crew managers.

Day to day management of staffs performance, setting targets for staff to achieve, dealing with customers complaints and resolving any issues they have also dealing with rostering and making sure we fall within our budget.

Managing the daily processes, carrying out 1 2 1 with staff to evaluate their needs, trained in grievance procedures and chain of care also carried out disciplinary procedures.
