As a trained speaker of both American and British English, I'm looking forward to applying my knowledge and skills in teaching the English language to speakers of other language. I believe that I will be able to effectively teach the English language since I am from the Philippines which is one of the largest english speaking country in the world. More so, I am interested to share and impart the knowledge and skills of the English language to speakers of other languages, at any level. As an ALT, I've been assisting Junior High School Teacher or Home Room Teacher in teaching English to students in both Elementary and Kindergarten schools in Japan. I prepare English related activities, encourage students to practice the language, make teaching materials, promote the use of English both inside and outside the classroom and be involved with school activities such as sports/culture day, English speech contests etc. I'm also a responsible role model, punctual, reliable, flexible and shows initiative in my work. I get along with the students, JTEs/ HRTs and treat everyone on a fair and equal manner. I'm patient, friendly and interested with the Japanese culture and society.
