I am a Research Psychologist at the Air Force Research Laboratory where I lead and conduct human-machine co-learning research. I received both an M.S. and Ph.D. in Human Factors Psychology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. I transitioned to a civilian position as a Research Psychologist on July 6th, 2020. My research investigates ways to leverage autonomous agents, machine learning/AI, and cognitive modeling approaches for improved human and human-machine team performance. My primary research areas of interest include human and autonomous agent teaming, human and agent co-training, AI explainability, and human-AI interaction. I am committed to communicating my research to entice future generations to pursue STEM disciplines and give them a sneak peek into the life of a research scientist. I was recently selected to be in the AFRL INSPIRE 2022 cohort and participated in a TED-style presentation where she presented the art of the possible in future air and space human-AI teaming.
