I am a high-achieving student at Independence High School, I’m taking advanced coursework in CyberSecurity and Computer Science, creating a strong academic foundation.As an athlete playing both football and basketball at the high school level, I learned physical fitness, teamwork, and how to deal when in high-pressure moments. I also had the opportunity to get 2nd team all district for basketball this current school year.My experience as a Cashier and Cleaner at Tropical Smoothie I learned customer service and communication skills and also interacting with customers to brighten up their day.I demonstrated impressive leadership skills as the Vice President of the Black Student Union (BSU) club, and as a member of the National Honors Society (NHS). In (NHS) I earned a lot of volunteering hours and helped the community.During this school year I learned a bit about Java and Python. I got the chance to code a couple of games myself so others could enjoy and play it. Creating these games in different languages helped my programming skills, problem solving abilities and passion for cybersecurity.I’m also part of this club called Cyberpatriot and I do a lot of computer capture the flags (CTF) and compete at a high level.
