My time as an Into Games Community Coordinator is spent on a variety of projects such as:Curating. scheduling and hosting weekly panels with industry professionals and studios from across the globe. While also coordinating regular 'design workout' challenges and portfolio feedback sessions for community members to nurture their skills and provide them with actionable feedback on their work with the goal of creating suitable industry-standard portfolio pieces. This would also, on occasion, be in partnership with UK Games Studios who would aid in work reviews and brief conceptualization. Being an active participant in and encouraging regular conversations, peer learning, collaboration & feedback on the community Discord server is also a key part of my role as our online community is the backbone of what Into Games does so their consistent activity is important to how the business functions.In order to keep the community engagement up I also work closely with my colleagues in other departments to support in planning and attending innovative events for our community such as the Into Games Careers Festival, two unreleased twitch shows, and in-person outreach events like Develop: Brighton.
