I currently work in Supply Chain Management working as a Practitioner Relationship Consultant negotiating with Practitioners which consists of:• To manage the relationship and negotiation of prices with Practitioners for the procedures, whilst providing day to day support to the Procurement management team. • Build relationships with Providers and other business areas of Health to promote and deliver the Aviva philosophy on provider remuneration. • Actively identify opportunities to reduce financial loss through effective analysis of supplier trends or contract and /or process inefficiency.• Maintenance of appropriate systems to ensure supplier information is easy to understand, accurate and up to date and contracts and tariffs are loaded to enable correct billing.• Policing and monitoring of supplier behaviour. Effective and appropriate communication with the supplier to investigate what has taken place and take appropriate action with the provider in order to maintain customer safety.• Retrospective audit of Provider billing data to ensure contracts are adhered to and raising issues and rectifying with providers as they arise, escalating to Legal if required.• SME for our Specialist Finer Tool queries within the team as well as the department.• SME for ACPM testing and on occasions working weekends when needed. • Dealing with 3rd parties such as Healthcode to ensure any issues are resolved with our practitioners billing.
