Vital Records Supervisor
• Assists the Manager and assumes all supervisory responsibilities in his or her absence. This includes conducting appraisals, approving time, training new employees, and coordinating vacation and time-off requests.• Determines adherence to department procedures in preparing incoming documents for filing, which includes verifying scanned images and filed applications.• Routes documents to appropriate County, State and Federal agencies.• Sorts and distributes all incoming mail and answers correspondence requesting information.• Processes fee transactions, balances receipts, and completes daily deposit.• Communicates daily with other departments and the public, which may include providing on call assistance to funeral homes on weekends.• Interview and train new employees• Performs all other related duties as assigned.
