Was responsible for independently managing the Pune portfolio within the Commercial Banking Business. Role involved structuring credit proposal and recommending to approving authorities and actively managing the portfolio for any early warning indications. Work closely with relationship team and credit operations to address any credit resolution within the portfolio. As part of active portfolio monitoring, conduct periodical meetings with clients for identification of early warning signals.Managed a portfolio of USD 60 MM with SME client across various industries.

Worked with Royal Bank of Scotland (Now known as NatWest Bank) Handled Mid Corporate & Small Enterprises across various industries for Western part of the country (clients with turnover up to USD 500 MM). As part of the Risk Management Team, responsibilities included underwriting corporate credits, making appropriate recommendations to approving authority, monitoring of portfolio, managing various audits, working with relationship team for timely resolution on remedial accounts.Over the 6 years managed various segments like Commercial Banking, Special Asset Financing, Asset Backed Financing, Channel Finance.Managed a portfolio of around USD 1.70 BLN with reporting of 2 credit analyst.

Managed large corporate customers with turnover above USD 100 MM mainly into food and agri businesses. Responsibilities included reviewing credit submissions by Relationship Team and making appropriate recommendations to bank's Credit Committee. Was also responsible for monitoring the portfolio for any early warning signals.

-Part of the department formed to take over another bank and assist the BU Head in smooth transition.-Conduct portfolio review at bank level (target bank) and make suitable recommendations to BU Head.-Appraise credit proposals and get limits sanctioned from Committee of Executives.
