Currently the High School Multilingual Coordinator with Washington Connections Academy. The last 2 years I was a Spanish instructor and ESL specialist at Ridgeline High School in Liberty Lake, Washington, where I also coached football and track and field. My first 6 years in education I taught multiple levels of Spanish and coached football at Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley, Washington.In the workplace I effectively utilize feedback and metrics to improve performance, and continually emphasize ongoing communication, collaboration, and relationship-building to achieve the most ideal outcomes possible. I am detail-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to foster a positive environment and sense of belonging. I am a passionate and committed individual.In 2017 I helped with the collaboration and adoption of Central Valley School District's latest world language curriculum.In 2017 and 2018, and most recently in 2021 through the present, I have been an effective promoter and facilitator of the STAMP and ALTA World Language competency tests, helping at least 20 of 25 students each of the last two years earn the equivalent of 2-4 years of elective language credits.These last 2 years I have assisted in establishing the mission and culture of Ridgeline High School, a brand new comprehensive public high school.This last spring in track in field, in the events I coached of long and triple jump, I had 6 athletes compete in multiple events in the postseason, with 4 athletes reaching the 3A District 8 finals.
