I lead the Synexis Operations Team in all aspects of Product Change Control and Planning including Triad Facilitator, Core Product Change Control/Planning Facilitator, and Product Management Tools Change Expert and Facilitator. I have been with Applied Materials since October 1997 when I started in the CMP and ATD New Products Transition group as a PM/ME. That role migrated into a PM position in the Synexis NPT group, which prepared me nicely for the Synexis Product Control/Management position I bid for and was awarded in October 2003. In my current position, I have been the Product Manager for the AP Mainframe, for Control Systems, and for the Factory Interface, and I have since migrated to my current change control/management position for all Synexis products.

As a project manager, I was responsible for the coordination and completion of projects, and I oversaw all aspects of the transitions. I led and directed the work of others by setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing the progress of projects. I prepared for and conducted regular status meetings (approximately weekly during the life of the project) and distributed meeting minutes. I updated project status (NPT Database, NPT Checklists, Single Page Summaries, and Engineering Issues Logs) and submitted a Weekly Report on a weekly basis. My ability to lead these teams required me to be familiar with most of the practices at Applied Materials, to be able to perform a variety of tasks, to have good judgment, and to be creative and influential.- Led and implemented transition of over 40 new products into Volume Manufacturing including simultaneous management of 22 projects. - Responsible for the design, manufacture, assembly, and testing of high-power microwave tubes- Resolved daily sustaining engineering issues including troubleshooting engineering re-designs- Coordinated supplier interface and part-to-print verification- Supervised staff of in-house machinists- Helped prepare government funding proposals and maintained a DoD “Top Secret” clearance- Developed working knowledge and experience with Class 100 clean room, vacuum systems, high-temperature / high-purity braze processes, eutectic alloys, volatile and inert gases, and fabrication processes (mill, lathe, etc.)
