As a police officer at Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, I apply my master's degree in criminal justice from Tennessee State University and my skills in criminal justice, police, and crime prevention to serve and protect the community. I have been working as a police officer since Aug 2021, and before that, I was a juvenile probation officer at the same organization for 2.5 years, where I supported the rehabilitation and reintegration of young offenders. I also have two years of experience as a youth development specialist at Youth Detention Center, where I facilitated educational and recreational activities for detained youth. My core competencies include communication, empathy, leadership, and problem-solving. I am passionate about helping people, especially the youth, to overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
