Recreation Coordinator for City of Pinole- coordinating a variety of events, programs, and social media/ graphic design services. Various events coordinated, organized, and marketed include Pinole Earth Walk, Pinole Pride and Juneteenth Celebration, Summer concerts and movie nights, National Night Out, Halloween and Holiday events, and educational events for local Pinole schools. Director of Youth Anti-Tobacco Program for City of Pinole- Grant Funded by the DOJ of California - Roles included outreach and education to Pinole youth through curriculum-based research, workshops, and hiring + training a team of Youth Interns. Promoted from Recreational Aide in 2018 to Recreation Leader 1 mentoring children and teenagers in annual six-week summer programs, year-round after school programs, and recreational events. Organized and led numerous public events for the community of Oakland (Annual Carnival, fundraisers, park clean ups, food drives and feeds). Lead and coordinated various activities: advanced tutoring, arts and crafts, games, sports and other enrichment activities for young children.
