Created positions for, hired, and led a 10-person team (including my role as manager) to quality-check and clean over 4.2 million acres of cropland boundaries for Indigo Carbon, a program that empowers farmers to get compensated to sequester atmospheric carbon by adopting regenerative ag practices.Gathered, processed, and packaged data for the largest full-scale agricultural field trial experiment in the world with Indigo Partners. Indigo Partners are key to researching and field-testing symbiotic microbial treatments that are beneficial to plant vigor and vitality. These microbes help crops endure droughts and other stressors via the use of naturally occurring bacteria and fungi.Integral to the Precision Ag team that processed geographic data for massive virtual field trials with Tellus Labs, which was subsequently acquired by Indigo Ag to become the GeoInnovation department.Piloted an endeavor to review and incorporate Brazilian field boundaries into our systems, crossing a language barrier. Maintained an understanding of the Brazilian CAR registry, and the many restrictions on arable land for Brazilian agriculture.
