This team is comprised of both Pre-merger EDS and pre-merger HP employees supporting complex global contracts. Key accomplishments during the past year include:-Improved financial processes, particularly with close and forecast that allowed all contracts to meet the challenges of closing and forecasting in their respective systems quickly to ensure that all corporate reporting requirements were met. For all contracts, we were able to accurately provide financial reporting earlier in the process that allowed for AE review and financial review in advance of any corporate deadlines. -Integration of two teams to into one team with solid VOW results -Successful rev/rec approval processes that were developed to ensure that all reviews were completed prior to recognition -Development and review of financial process documentation for the combined Assigned Finance organization to allow for the review and approval of the financial processes currently in place for the organization.

This contract provided the client with End User Compute, Hosting and Network Support in the Americas; Europe-Middle East-Africa and Asia Pacific spanning over 60 countries worldwide. The financial team operated around the globe coordinating analytical, financial support. Key accomplishments included:-Process focus function with improved focus upon close/outlook allowing significant reduction of days to perform tasks. The contract’s processes are considered best practice at EDS.-Implemented forecast and monthly flash processes to facilitate the reporting of financial forecasts for the contract for 2 years in the future with a high degree of accuracy.-Developed cash flow review process for the contract routinely reviewed with EDS’ external audit BOD members.-Supported numerous activities to re-negotiate the contract.-Contract has became more profitable as a result of operational attention to the financial performance and solid financial discipline, better knowledge of results and overall accountability driven by both finance and operational leadership.-Implemented the use of best shore resources throughout the contract’s financial support units.
