If anyone had told high school me that I would one day be graduating college with a mathematics degree and desiring to continue pursuing a career in mathematics, I would have laughed in their face. Add on that I tutor mathematics for other college students and I would have not believed them. Yet, both are two of my accomplishments in the last five years. Mathematics has quickly become my passion and I love challenging myself to not only learning and understand topics myself, but also be able to help others learn and understand them to. Helping a student grasp a topic they haven't understood is one of my favorite things to do. Various research projects throughout college have helped me love math even more and I am eagerly anticipating my future growth in the topic.
