Before relocating to Amsterdam in 2019, Jay Stevens lived for over thirty years in different areas of the greater northwestern part of the United States, learning and growing in places steeped in abundant natural beauty and environmental richness. Through countless diverse experiences that have shaped and inspired his personal and professional life, he has learned to observe the many overlapping complexities of both natural and synthetic systems and interrelated conditions, using this as a driving force that refines not only his understanding of the world around him and how he experiences life, but also how he contributes to the same for others through design, creative thinking, and professional collaboration.Stevens seek engaging, advanced, flexible environments that allow him to work collaboratively with excellent people and with leadership that encourages calculated risk-taking and going a step further in his creative approaches and processes, whether it is conceptualization, schematic thinking, design development and production, or even research and development work.
