I am passionate about learning engineering applications outside of the classroom. At Ryerson's Concrete Canoe Race team, I worked alongside a very ambitious team of diverse engineering students to plan, design and build a full-sized canoe made of concrete. I focused my work on developing a concrete mixture to lower the canoe's weight yet also maintain optimal strength.
