As a Project Portfolio manager I was responsible for providing the “big picture” of upcoming, current and past projects including Resource Allocation. Simplified and improved Portfolio visibility, data reliability, comparability and capitalization of the €30 M/year Project Portfolio by moving from spreadsheets to software tools, from single projects to programs and by mirroring the Agile software development process in the time reporting system. By providing a well substantiated Portfolio view I was enabling management to make better decisions on project and resource optimization. My key objective as T&E Manager was to safeguard that company travel guidelines and policies were followed and costs kept within budget.
