Artem is Latin for 'Art'. Leaders must first understand the science of leadership, and then apply this body of knowledge in practice. The 'art' of leadership lies in the ability to lead strategically and achieve whole of enterprise results in complex and unpredictable environments. Artem Group bring the 'art' into leadership development by designing and delivering high impact leadership growth experiences. My purpose is to enable people to discover who they are and who they might become in pursuit of conscious leadership. As we are noticing and experiencing an increasingly complex world, I am aware of the need to develop our internal capacity to meet this complexity. We can no longer rely on the rules, systems and processes of the past to provide us with the scaffolding required in an everchanging environment.My practice is constantly evolving as I continue to learn more about myself and the world we live in. I feel it is important to provide people with time and a safe space to reflect, explore and challenge who they are and how they live and lead. This requires a huge degree of courage and commitment and I support participants in integrating the many parts of themselves along the way. I believe ‘now’ calls on leaders to view the world in a more nuanced way by increasing their capacity to see different perspectives, expanding their compassion and growing their transformation skills. This is a maturation process and takes deliberate effort and time, with leaders being exposed to new ways of learning and exploring development. By developing conscious leadership, I hope to support leaders to expand their capacity to think, feel and act in more complex and adaptive ways.My focus is primarily on leadership development, culture, team dynamics, change and developmental coaching. I also have a passion for supporting the leadership development of females so they can be seen, heard and understood. My experience has largely been in learning and development with large organisations. As a leader at Melbourne Business School for over 14 years I have first-hand experience of the challenges of leading professional teams and being part of an executive team. I have worked in both the public and private sectors and have an appreciation for the nuances of both. My personal development is ongoing. Most recently I completed The Hoffman Process in 2019 and I regularly seek out coaching support. During the ‘lockdown years’ I have purposefully engaged in my own work to help make sense of what is going on around us all and to ensure I am available to support others.
