Controlled and coordinated up to 5 projects at a time. Created, updated and maintained project schedules with new and changed project information received from Project Managers; took initiative to identify and resolve issues, risks and conflicts.  Developed project plans and schedules for project managers with the use of MS project Server. Ensured with the help of Project Web Access (PWA) that project plans were updated to enable tracking and reporting of time, budgets and resourcing. Also created statistical reports from PWA to identify resource over allocation, under allocations and gaps. Direct hands on experience with the use of Microsoft project server 2007/Enterprise project manager(EPM) and Project Web Access(PWA) Coordinated project meetings (e.g. steering committee, team meetings), including issuance of agendas, minutes of meetings, and follow-up on action items with the project team. Assist in facilitating status meetings Led the project team in the Rebranding Initiative project that transformed Aegon Canada to Transamerica Canada.  Executed the maintenance and upkeep of the Project Management Offices’ Share Point Site. Created project management artifacts and the storage of project assets. Responsible for reviewing forecasts and budgets and making changes where necessary. Coordinated post implementation project team appreciation events.

 Created, developed and monitored the IT contractor invoicing program. Re-engineered previous process, in doing so eliminating over 6 months worth of overdue payments and bringing all processing up to date and out of unpaid delinquent status. Ensure that all current and future invoices were received in approved status for process, and corrected any errors that had occurred during the generation of the invoices. This was a small project that took 3 months from the initiation phase to closure.  Developed contractor savings program to help eliminate high costing contractors and created a conversion program for them to convert them to full time staff to retain knowledge and skills without having to pay high contract rates. Was am integral part of the “Meet me at 155” project team that created a strategic plan to help implement and execute a building and staff relocation project. The Major Initiative saw a move from the old RBC building at 77 king street and relocate to 155 Wellington in the downtown Toronto financial district.  Successfully planned and executed the internal RBC Dexia IT share point site revitalisation project. This small sized project was completed using a step by step plan to extract the benefits of using the online collaboration software.

 Was selected to be employee allocated to the ground breaking position within the Toronto office that enabled all of RBC Dexia IT Toronto employee’s to have their own designated on site IT Project Security Consultant.  Ensured all security system exceptions were properly documented with actions plans stating corrective measures to be taken to fix current security related issues with on going project implementations. Conceived a balancing strategy that enabled all Toronto based projects to align to current RBC Dexia IT security standards and polices and procedures.  Established Quarterly user access reviews of all inactive RBC Dexia employee login Id’s for Audit purposes. Reviews have helped ensure that inactive ID’s are removed from the system, and that only current users are listed in the employee database.
