I have more than 45 years experience in the printing industry, starting with hands-on experience in bindery, prepress and the press room during my high school and college years. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communications at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. After college, I received extensive training and experience in color at one of the premier separation houses in San Francisco. After that I moved to print, and gained experience in packaging, labels, large format sheetfed and specialty web, and worked my way up to Division Manager of Specialty Web. For the last 15 years plus I have been involved in high-end commercial printing. I have worked in sheetfed plants that specialize in large format (up to 84") as well as small format, as an Estimator, Planner, Manager of Production/Customer Service, Plant Manager and now Account Executive. Over the last 15 years, I have added to my experience turnkey production, mailing, online solutions for print and fulfillment and promo. I enjoy the industry, and find it fulfilling to guide projects so that they are started and completed correctly. I think of myself not as an Account Executive but as a member of my customers’ teams.
