The company was developing a new wastewater treatment technology, "Micro-Algae growth-based treatment" (Phyco-remediation), for large-scale wastewater treatment.It was selected among the "Top 10 start-ups in India based on Social Impact" by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Lockheed Martin, and TATA Trust.This was a unique working and learning experience, considering I had to perform field inspections, and help seniors with preparing plans and specifications, draft proposals, environmental reports, and permits as needed. I accompanied sales and marketing managers on many occasions, which helped me understand early on the importance of client relations building.

The project was about "the Source Apportionment Study-Emission Inventory" for Ahmedabad City (which is the fifth-most populous city in India), which would find out every source of air pollution in the city.We conducted city-wide monitoring and used that information to deductively break down area-wise the point sources of pollution like industries, automobiles, and other different exercises.The goal of this project was to assist the state government predict the city's possible future extension while maintaining the air quality.
