Enterprise System Architect-VMware Private Cloud strategy across 3 state deployment. For 19 years dedicated role leading VMware strategy with leadership. I deliver strategic Private/Hybrid Cloud strategy covering VMware services as expert in VMware/Dell Blades/Pure Storage/Zerto DR/Dell ransomware solution, performing datacenter moves, budget presentations, innovation, and develop strategy for mergers. Led modernization of our VMware private cloud infrastructure saving 2.1 million dollars! Presented budget, design, cost saving strategy moving to Dell Blade stack, massive CPU scale-up, non-disruptive migration, and 1st ever VMware Cluster consolidation. 124 HP blades were replaced with only 41 Dell blades, 23 HP chassis reduced to just 5 Dell chassis.Instrumental involvement in new ransomware Dell Cyber Vault strategy. I provide ability to vMotion restored applications from clean room to a declared safe production environment.Architected and performed first complete datacenter move using vMotion in 2016 from all the health care competition in our service areas! Through 11 change windows I moved 555 virtual machines during the day with no business interruption, about 51.8 TB of data!Key Architect and manage our Zerto VMware DR services and modernization of the platform. Held to strict accountability for DR readiness, yearly DR plan and strategy updates, and DR failover/failback testing reported directly to board members. I work with leadership to improve our DR posture.Hosted the Epic Hyperspace platform for many years on VMware Private Cloud with no issues. I managed 276 blades and 28 HP chassis across three states.I spearheaded our VMware storage team POC/adoption of Pure Storage. This saved 1 million in maintenance/year, automated all storage tasks to 5 seconds from vCenter, has known costs for 8 years, and we can deploy a VM in 5 seconds! Storage and VMware working as a team is best organization ever!Attended VMworld Conference 2006-2019. I reviewed strategic direction with senior leadership, provided conference report, and evaluated innovation/strategy to adopt/investigate.I work primarily with Leadership, Networking/Datacenter teams, integrated with storage team, CMDB, Security/Vulnerability teams and partners. Managed VMware ELA/Cloud Services, Enterprise Learning subscription.In 2018 presented only employee driven Hybrid cloud strategy with VMWare cloud on AWS POC. For 2020 I led our Azure VMware Solution Hybrid Cloud evaluation.
