Will be overseeing two county rehabilitation and re-entry expansion projects in the near future. Pending award under the Senate Bill 1022 and approval by BSCC. Successfully completed the rehabilitation of the Santa Cruz County Jail at the Rountree Facility. Facility is currently occupied and warranty work completed. Approx. value of project was 22 million. Awaiting approval from the State of California to begin work in Merced and Plumas County.Headed up the design review of the Wayne County Justice Center, Detroit. Coordinated and reviewed all comments from review team in order to provide County with timely reviews of Design Development through 100% Construction Documents. Currently project is progressing.

$330M Project556,961 Square Feet of Building spaceAs Project Manager II I am responsible for the general oversight of all construction activities and act as the State of California representative on the construction site. I review construction documents, attend all design, startup, and job site meetings. I ensure all is work installed is completed according to CDCR requirements and National codes. The project consists of the design and development of a complete operational prison to include six housing units supporting 1584 inmates, support buildings, plant operations, security electronic installation and all underground infrastructure. Play a key role as the States representative in the oversite of commisioning activities, equipment startup, and training of personel.

Western Regional Office, Stockton, Ca.

Oversee the operations of all Federal Prisons in the Western Region, to include California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Hawaii. I oversaw the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for eighteen Federal institutions in the Western Region along with building and facility projects funded at the institutions. Overseeing the CMMS program included all preventative maintenance of equipment and all required inspections were being completed by the staff at those institutions. Reviewed any new equipment to ensure all proper documentation was inputted into the program correctly. Provided yearly bus, fuel usage, utility, and monthly reports to include the status of projects.

Federal Correctional Institution MendotaFederal Correctional Complex Victorville$370M Project2.25M Square Feet of Buiilding spaceI was responsible for the initial construction of the general housing units that supported 1156 inmates. The construction included the development of a central utility plant, education buildings, health service / dental offices, special housing unit, and all infrastructures to support all mechanical systems. Also played a key role in the turnover of the facility to the activation team and met with the Warden on a weekly basis to update on current construction activities. This institution consisted of three double stacked housing units, support buildings, double security fence with tamper wire notification system, 125 beds minimum security male camp all located on approximately 960 acres in the Central San Joaquin Valley. I also oversaw the construction of similar institutions at the Federal Correctional Complex in Victorville, California. The complex consisted of two Federal Correctional Institutions, one Penitentiary, and minimum security Camp as well as three Central Utility Plants, Central Administration Building, Training Center and Firing Range.
