Aquino Accounting Firm (Philippines)• Preparation of external audit procedures for Electric Companies in the Philippines• Examination of cash balances (including bank reconciliation), receivables (including aging of receivables), inventories, fixed assets, other investments and payables accounts• Review of revenue, cost and expenses (including payroll, depreciation, bad debts and accrual of retirement benefits)• Recommendation to management of internal control procedures to improve operation and reliability of financial statements• Verification of accuracy of VAT, income tax and withholding taxes

• Preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial statements• Scrutinizing and monitoring of annual budget• Lead in Rate application with the regulatory agency• Oversee Payroll preparation and employee compensation and remuneration• Review of Tax payables and preparation of tax returns of employees and suppliers including remittances to Bureau of Internal Revenue (i.e income tax of employees; value added tax; withholding taxes)• Drafting of policies for increase collection efficiency• Monitoring of billing charges and analysis of financial impact of system loss• Review power supply charges and re-contracting• Review and recommend cash investment and management to cope up with inflation• Setting up internal control procedures on in house system preparation• Ensure compliances with government requirements• Planning of operation efficiency for cost reduction and internal control procedures• Oversees and accountable in all financial aspects of accounting, collection, billing, and disbursement.
