New product designer for construction engineering, developing a ground up new package for Tier 4 emissions. This project is a complete redesign of our largest air compressor, horsepower ratings from 300 to 700hp. Past projects include package redesigns for Tier III & II emissions, Canopy and Instrument panel design using composite materials, Wiring Harness’s and diagrams for all machines. Have been the leader of the CAD core team consisting of top users to develop and implement new CAD Hardware, Software, Standards and TeamCenter. Have dayly interactions with Vendors, Service, Sales, and Marketing. Have experience using FEA analysis with Unigraphics. Have used Unigraphics v9, v11, v15, and NX4 (Solid Modeling).

This is a sheet metal and fabrication shop. Broke down complex weldments from assembly drawings to individual pieces. Mathematically transformed bent objects to flattened forms. Designed parts using FabraWin 5.1 to cut parts from sheet metal on Laser, Water Jet, Flame, and CNC Punch/Cutting Machines. Learned the understanding of welding and sheet metal forming process.
