Terminal Coordinator
CurrentPosition Summary: Responsible for coordinating the operation a single pipeline storage terminal, and accountable for examining and transferring incoming pipeline petroleum products from the pipelines to the appropriate storage tanks or truck transports in a safe and efficient manner.Primary Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to the following): Receive product from the CountryMark and Buckeye pipelines, and perform the required tender changes and ensure efficient transportation of product to the proper tankage. Oversee the operation of the 4 inch pipeline and its necessary equipment, and monitor the pipeline drag reducer injection system and carry out the required daily system maintenance Track daily storage tank, pipeline, and load rack inventory; which includes gauging tanks and obtaining pipeline meter, load rack meter, and additive readings. Enter inventory data into the AX and inventory systems. Receive incoming truckload shipments of Ethanol, Biodiesel, Butane and additives, and enter the receipts into the AX and inventory systems. Sample and test products to ensure that specifications and quality control standards are being met. Oversee the shipping of products though the terminal load rack, and ensure correct product blends, adjusting BOLs as necessary. Ensure the rack additive tanks are monitored and filled appropriately. Perform required daily, weekly, and monthly inspections for tanks, facility, leaks, monitor wells, oil water separator system, vapor combustor unit, Biodiesel temperature, etc. Perform annual tank inspections and monthly and annual fire extinguisher inspections. Perform scheduled terminal maintenance and repairs as needed.Secondary Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to the following): Monitor and observe customers, contractors, and visitors at the terminal. Monitor security cameras and ensure that the facility is safe and secure. Train drivers in the terminal
