About Jay Stokes

As a higher education professional since 2013, I strive to create a meaningful impact though genuine care and focus on developing quality relationships. My appreciation of and value in the holistic student experience propels me to continue my growth and constantly seek new learning opportunities. I wish to expand my skillset and experience in management or director level positions over the next decade. While higher education has been my focus so far, I'm open to other professional opportunities that align with my interest and skills. Supervision and leadership is a passion and focus area for my career. I believe that training and attention needs to be given to guidance and support of the holistic employee, just as I believe in clear direction and implementation of policy. I have experience at four different higher education institutions in three different states since 2006. Each with a different focus and diverse student population. Connecting with colleagues on a personal level and enjoying my work is important to me. I want to be surrounded my staff and students who are willing to engage in challenging and rewarding work. Thank you for reading my profile and please contact me anytime!
