I am a Research Assistant Professor, data scientist, and linguist at the University of New Mexico, where I develop custom natural language processing pipelines & software for biomedical discovery and health-informatics data mining. In a previous life, I obtained a PhD in Linguistics from The University of New Mexico, where I researched the social and cognitive mechanisms underlying processes of lexical innovation and semantic change. When not at work, I bicycle, run, and van about the American Southwest.
