Developing programs and technologies that help empower communities and bridge the Economic & Digital Divide with a specialty in Google Spreadsheet online database development.School District of Philadelphia - Coordinate approximately 20 Digital Service Fellows and Temple Students each year in the delivery of technology trainings to thousands of parents associated with the School District of Philadelphia. Manage training to provide parent access to childrens’ grades and test scores. Now up to 13,000 parents. Acquire and implement $250,000 grant from Senator Tartaglione to provide new iMac computers to every 3rd and 4th grader at Sheppard Elementary School. Provide computer classes to parents including: Basic computers, browsing the Internet, Google Sites, Gmail & Docs, Internet Safety, and buying a computer. Up to 5000 participants. Designed, programmed and maintained Excel-based inventory system to manage District equipment. Directed Computer Refurbishing Initiative which delivered over 3500 to schools in Philadelphia. Co-author of survey and analysis on computer ownership and Internet access in homes of students. Created numerous excel/database programs to assist the District in the analysis of data.

Acquired and managed the Education Connection Project that was funded by $790,000 of a $5.5 million US Department of Education Technology Innovation Challenge Grant and was one of the first programs in the country to test the use of used and low-cost computers in the home as a way of enhancing student academic achievement. The final evaluation indicates significant improvement in mathematics and science achievement as compared to a control group without the benefit of the computers and Internet access in their homes.
