Member of AMG senior management team, establishing and executing overall digital strategy – refocusing editorial coverage, growing traffic, expanding social media and newsletter programs, and extending Maxim's digital footprint into ecommerce, social gaming and onto iPhone, iPad, and Android platforms.

As top editor of AMG digital properties (Maxim.com, Blender.com, and Stuffmagazine.com), directed redesigns, introduced new editorial features, brokered new content partnerships with Yahoo, Fox, and Sports Illustrated, and increased original online-only content by more than 100 percent.

Directed a complete top-to-bottom redesign of Entertainment Weekly's website, expanded online-original news breaking, launched numerous video franchises, and dramatically increased traffic, consumption and engagement. EW.com (Entertainment Weekly) received the Magazine Publishers of America award for best website in the Entertainment/Celebrity category in 2007.

Directed redesign of front-of-the-book News and Notes section (2003-2004), directed the magazine’s movie coverage (2004-2005), managed the mix of stories in the magazine’s feature well, assigned and edited all “bonus” feature stories, edited special issues (Photo Issue, Movie Previews), and managed staff of approximately two dozen.

Oversaw the Movie Reviews section and edited special issues (Summer Movie Preview, Fall Movie Preview, Holiday Movie Preview, It List, Power Issue).

Edited The Screen (movie and TV review) section; created Portfolio (financial section); created and edited the Food page (with contributing editor Francine Maroukian); conceived, assigned, and edited feature stories and packages; discovered and published three new stories by Raymond Carver, one of which (“Kindling”) became an O.Henry Prize winner; recognition for edited work included three National Magazine Award nominations (one win) and inclusion in Best American Sports Writing 2000.

Published out of Duke’s Center for Documentary Studies, DoubleTake became one of the largest literary quarterlies in America and won the National Magazine Award for General Excellence in 1998, its second year of eligibility. Managed and coordinated the creation and launch. Acquired and edited award-winning writing.

Taught creative writing for the Department of English.
