As a Proposal and Solution Engineer, I am responsible for a variety of activities ranging from network design and planning, RFP response and management, to delivering technical presentations to stakeholders. My responsibilities cover the following activities:- Design and planning of microwave links in different configurations and frequency bands, such as single polarization, XPIC, space diversity, hot standby, 4, 6, 7, 8, 11, 18, 24 GHz, V band (60 GHz) and E band (90 GHz) using Pathloss design software.- Design of point-to-point and point-to-multipoint links in the unlicensed 5.8GHz band using Cambium Networks radio equipment. Experience with TDD links and with the use of the Cambium Network LINKplanner tool.- Trusted technical advisor to customers and sales team, providing advice on technical queries related to product knowledge, solution design and competitive differentiation. Main products are Ceragon Networks portfolio, Cambium 5.8 GHz radios, and other third-party units such as TelRAD eNodeB.- Collaboration with the sales team to understand the customer's needs and propose the most cost-effective solution.- Pre-sale activities such as technical presentations and solution design.- Management and technical response to Requests for Proposals (RFP) / Requests for Information (RFI)., collaborating with multiple department/teams to ensure accurate and compelling responses.- Elaboration of bill of materials for the proposed solution.

As a Proposal and Solution Engineer for the Maritime and Offshore Oil&Gas segment, my main activities focus on providing engineering solutions specially adapted and designed for the marine environment, such as ship-to-ship communication or connectivity to offshore oil platforms.
