Quantum Leap Innovations is a technology company focused on research and development in the field of Intelligent Computing. We are a leader in the area of Pattern Based Analytics. Our journey began in 1999 and since that time we have been working in both the public and private sector. Our public sector work includes a dozen years of continuous, advanced R&D engagements with the U.S. Department of Defense, as well as engagements with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Intelligence Community. We worked with DARPA, iARPA, HSARPA and the Office of Naval Research on leading edge programs in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Human Cognition, Distributed Intelligent Agents, Human Health, and Advanced Analytics.Quantum Leap private sector work includes large engagements and projects with large companies including CSC, DuPont, Exelon, Ford, IBM, SAIC, Tyco, Texas Instruments, and Verizon applying our advanced analytics technologies to complex and high value challenges.The Quantum Leap Pattern Based Analytics product platform is based on many years of research and development in the areas of Data Analytics, Agent Based Modeling & Simulation, and Distributed Adaptive Optimization.Pattern Based Analytics is a powerful new approach to data analysis. It provides unique insights into the full complexity of real world data and it does this without either requiring deep mathematical skills or requiring heroic simplifying assumptions about the important variables at work. The Quantum Leap Pattern Based Analytics suite of products enables transparent, flexible discovery, visualization and analysis of informative patterns in large, complex data environments. These characteristics empower the subject matter expert to rapidly obtain insights into their data for discovery, prediction, exploration and planning.

Quantum Leap Health Sciences was focused on the use of innovative technologies to improve health care and health care delivery with an initial focus on the most challenging problems and issues impacting military personnel. Quantum Leap Health Sciences also worked to transition the leading edge technologies that Quantum Leap Innovations has developed into the health care and life sciences domain.

Quantum Leap Interactive was focused on research and development in the areas of human computer interaction (HCI) and intelligent user interfaces (IUI). Quantum Leap Interactive, which was located in the Hawaiian Islands, was also working to transitions the leading edge technologies that Quantum Leap Innovations has developed to Asia.

Computer Logic was initially funded by Simon & Schuster Software and was applying early concepts of Artificial Intelligence (Expert Systems and Natural Language Processing) to digital books. Amongst our efforts were the JK Lasser tax book and the Robert Allen real-estate investment book, but most advanced and promising was a natural language interface to DOS (NL-DOS) which provided easy manipulation of files and more. All efforts were interrupted when Simon & Schuster decided to leave the consumer software business. We proceeded to work with IBM on what was thought as the next-generation of spreadsheet technology, an object-oriented spreadsheet with natural language interface and a powerful optimization engine. The technology was marketed initially jointly with IBM and was heralded as an "OS/2 Killer Application" by many PC industry pundits. It was subsequently ported to Unix and Windows, and at one point was used by hundreds of customers around the world.

Aerobotics was a robotics startup based on a patent for hovering pallets (for warehouses). In its business plan, Aerobotics had an Aerocar (the "cars"​ were built on top of the hovering pallets) and and Aerobot (the "engine")… There was also a vacuum cleaning robot to clean airports and offices at night based on the same principle as the pallet was lifted by tiny jets of air… Way ahead of its time... I should have kept the names... :-)
