Chuh! I'm currently a Self-Governance/Grants Specialist for the Mohegan Tribe. My role primary focuses all things Self-Governance and Grants, executing agreements, maximizing funding, providing technical assistance to self-governance and grant programs, evaluating said programs, identifying community needs and identifying policies and funding sources that will meet those needs, as well as developing Tribal policy and consultations, and assisting in my Tribe's ability to govern and protect our people, land, and resources.I hold a BA in Policy Studies and Political Science from Syracuse University, the best university in the United States for Public Affairs according to U.S. News. During my time at Syracuse, I served as a Council Member at Indigenous Students at Syracuse and as an Intern for a State Assemblywoman.I have a wide range of career interests, ranging anywhere from self-governance to political advocacy, campaigning, government relations, and legislative work, but they're all generally focused at creating a better world than the one we're all currently living in and solving community-wide problems!
