About Jack Greenberg
Jack Greenberg is a PhD candidate in political science at Yale and a resident graduate affiliate of Yale's Institution for Social and Policy Studies, where he directs the Dahl Research Scholars program. His research focuses on American presidential leadership in the separation-of-powers system. His first book, co-authored with Professor John Dearborn of Vanderbilt University and under contract with Cambridge University Press, concerns congressional expectations of presidential self-restraint in the post-Watergate era. His second book project explores how presidents develop their initial domestic policy agendas; portions of it have been published in Presidential Studies Quarterly as well as a recent edited volume put out by De Gruyter. He earned both an M.Phil. and an M.A. in political science from Yale in 2021, and he received his B.A. in political science, history, and leadership studies from Williams College in 2018.
