Through Conestoga College's Applied Research and Innovation program, partnered with two local companies, I was involved in developing a novel manufacturing process that could create TV-sized backplanes for OLED displays that are defect free.- Worked closely with other engineering students and professors- Developed mechanical designs and simulations utilizing Solid Works- Investigated potential process solutions- Created technical documentation

Partnered with Kendall Technology, a local start up company, I was involved with the development and manufacture of a prototype geological sensor, the Gold Sniffer®.- Product development and mechanical design- Interfaced with suppliers- Created manufacturing documentation and processes for prototype creation and product assembly- Drafted CAD models and working drawings for design and manufacture using Solid Works- Created prototypes using additive manufacturing techniques- Performed thermal simulations utilizing Solid Works and AutoCAD CFD

Septimatech is a leader in the design and manufacture of custom container handling solutions and enhancements, located in the Waterloo region.- Performed workspace improvements and created tooling storage design upgrades- Managed a small team to complete final assembly of medical-grade equipment fixtures- Created a floor layout for the shop and offices using AutoCAD

Through Conestoga's Applied Research and Innovation program, I was involved with a project investigating potential compostable and biodegradable packing materials.
