I am a seasoned infrastructure and energy investment professional, currently tackling the climate imperative by facilitating and deploying capital to underserved market segments in distributed energy. At Odyssey Energy Solutions, I lead our commercial capital business where we provide an end-to-end fintech / credit platform for banks/funds/DFIs to scale up investment in distributed renewable energy. I am eager to speak with distributed energy financiers and other market participants to see how we might collaborate. My previous experience at IFC and Macquarie set me up well to understand an institutional approach to financing infrastructure and energy projects, while my experience at DC Green Bank allowed me to transfer that institutional approach to innovative structures to support distributed energy, green buildings, and stormwater resilience. I understand first-hand how critical data transparency, streamlined due diligence, and consolidated portfolio monitoring are to investing capital in an array of small, disparate assets. A DC resident since 2016, I lived and worked in Asia for 8 years (Singapore and India) and previously was based in NY with Credit Suisse/UBS. A few other points of interest:-I am a CFA Charterholder. -I am an angel investor and advisor to several early stage climatetech companies.-I am passionate about leaving the earth in a better place than we found it and volunteer at local community farms and with refugee resettlement organizations.-I took a sabbatical for most of 2022, part of which involved working and living off-grid on small organic farms in Chile.
