    Project Names: Improve Livelihood in Rural Kilimanjaro through Organic Agriculture Funded by USAID TanzaniaResponsibilities: Promotion of Market-Led, Commercial Vegetable Production in Small Holder Farms around Mount Kilimanjaro. - Link Partnership between Floresta Tanzania and Fintrac US INC to support improvement in Commercial Vegetable production for selected farmer groups comprised with 350 smallholder farmers.- Mobilizing Individual farmers, Groups and Producer groups to form formal groups and assist them in establishing Revolving funds and Village Community Banks (VICOBA) to help them identify and utilize the resources available in Sustainable way.- Build capacity of 12 producer group through trainings in post harvest management techniques for commercial vegetable production, adopt and apply drip irrigation system, low cost green house production, raised beds, intercropping and organic agriculture production.- Link 9 selected group of farmers and its members to local and Export Markets. - Supervising the Para-extension officers who are responsible in mobilization and providing technical assistance in Farm management, IPM and Post harvest Handlings.- Monitoring and reporting on On-going project activities, data collection, preparing and produce Success stories weekly and Quarterly reports to Floresta Country Director.
