Justin Bown is Managing Director and Founder of Pinnacle Group Australia, a consulting firm established in 2005 that provides strategy, organisational alignment and leadership development services. Prior to establishing Pinnacle Group Australia, Justin worked as a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and a senior consultant at the Nous Group (specialising in strategy, leadership and people development). Justin holds a Master of Business Administration (on scholarship) from Melbourne Business School. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts (first-class Honours) from the University of Melbourne and is a registered psychologist (organisational psychology). Board experience includes working as a senior manager and executive board member with an Australian not-for-profit organisation (whilst on secondment from The Boston Consulting Group). More recently, Justin was appointed a Board Director of the Heide Museum of Modern Art. As Managing Director at Pinnacle Group Australia, Justin works with management teams and Boards to set strategic direction, advise on growth strategies to diversify revenue streams, and undertakes major organisational reviews to unearth opportunities for improvement and innovation. To complement his strategy work, Justin works with executives and their teams to develop leadership capability, inculcate team cohesion and sharpen performance. Justin has been engaged by clients over the past 20 years to design and deliver leadership development and team optimisation programs across Australia. His strategy and people development clients range from publicly listed corporations, state and Federal government departments and authorities, as well as not-for-profit organisations. Project experience spans various sectors including health, the arts, financial services, education, transport and logistics, not-for-profit, and government.
