My role spans responsibility for patient access to care across internal and external structural heart early innovation (and Critical Care, until its divestiture in September 2024). Since establishing the reimbursement advisory function in Edwards Lifesciences' Alliance Management organization, our team has partnered with innovators to accelerate patient access to more cardiovascular technologies. Created and led reimbursement team, strategy and enabled patient access to care in strategic-funded structural heart medtech startup. Attained clinical trial coverage (Category A and Category B IDE) for multiple trials, secured differentiated procedure coding and payment and advancing access to care in Medicare new National Coverage Determination process.

At the Peripheral Interventions business of Boston Scientific, I led a team that transformed care for cardiovascular patients, securing access to care for those with Peripheral Artery Disease; in the United States securing Medicare New Technology Add-on Payment.

With responsibility for health economics and reimbursement and a member of the Radiology Americas Leadership Team, I led teams that brought innovative care to more patients around the world in the Radiology and Interventional businesses of Bayer HealthCare, enabling patients to get access to life impacting imaging and cardiology care in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

Enabled atrial fibrillation patients with limited stroke mitigation options to obtain first-in-class interventional care by leading teams that attained procedure funding and reimbursement throughout Europe.

Leading a cross-functional US/China team that demonstrated the value of providing care with 3M HealthCare products, I inspired this team to change care for countless patients by obtaining central and provincial government reimbursement.

Opened the market for patient access to high value minimally invasive total joint replacement procedures by demonstrating the patient, provider and payer impact of these procedures. Established corporate health economics and reimbursement team at Zimmer’s Warsaw Indiana headquarters.
